WGAE Tells FTC About Journalism’s Survival in the Internet Age

Responding to a request by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the Writers Guild of America, East (WGAE) prepared extensive comments addressing how journalism will survive the Internet Age. The FTC requested the comments in advance of workshops exploring the Internet’s impact on the news media, the avenues of innovations and the financial challenges it created for the industry. WGAE members are expected to participate in the workshops planned for early December.
