In-depth overview with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF)

June 16, 2011

How do you write about guns, explosives, narcotics trafficking, tactical operations, sniffing canines and bomb response vehicles – and get it right?

Come join ATF Special Agents for a full day of presentations and hands-on exhibits in the areas of arson, racketeering and bootlegging, to help you create on-screen depictions that are authentic and accurate.

Special Agents will bring in canines, various firearms and explosives.  A bomb response vehicle will be stationed on Hudson Street for observation throughout the seminar.  Plus, learn valuable information on ATF’s culture, training and organizational structure, to help you better understand the ATF and what it does.  And gain access to policy information and establish contact with the public affairs division, which is tasked with reviewing production projects for ATF support.
