SAG Talks New Media

From Backstage:

The Screen Actors Guild's Joint New Media Subcommittee will hold meetings in several cities Aug. 16 to hear from actors who have worked in new-media productions. The caucuses will be held in Miami, Chicago, New York, and Hollywood.

All paid-up guild members who have worked in new-media productions (for the Internet, mobile devices, etc.) are invited.

The union states on its website, "It is very important that the Joint New Media Subcommittee begins to understand member needs in this area. Your participation is vital to the future of the TV/Theatrical contract."
