WGAE Receives Prestigious Silver Anvil Award

Our voices were heard during last year’s 100-day strike and they’ve been heard – and publicly recognized – again. The Writers Guild of America, East (WGAE) and its public relations counsel, Goldman Communications Group, were awarded the prestigious Silver Anvil Award from the Public Relations Society of AmericaWriters Guild strike. The Silver Anvil Awards recognizes outstanding achievement in strategic public relations programs. The Silver Anvil symbolizes the forging of public opinion. This year, a record 893 programs and campaigns were entered; the WGAE’s communications campaign during the strike was one of 126 finalists.
