The Writers Guild of America, East invites you to a lunch & learn with Italian American ONE VOICE Coalition
The nation’s 25-million Italian Americans are more than mobsters and bimbos. Although, if you watch television or go to the movies you wouldn’t know it. In fact, some of the greatest achievements in science, industry, government and more were the result of forward-thinking Italian Americans.
Two members of the ‘Italian American ONE VOICE Coalition‘, Executive Board Member Andre DiMino and former NYC TV reporter and anchor Frank Cipolla, will discuss the changing view of Italian Americans and provide examples of prominent Italian Americans, which may generate story ideas or help audiences better understand Italian American history and culture.
A light lunch will be provided.
