ABOUT THE 2015 TORONTO SCREENWRITING CONFERENCE

The Toronto Screenwriting Conference is a two-day weekend event on April 11th & 12th that brings together screen-based industry professionals and offers them advanced education and skills development unparalleled by any other screenwriting event on the continent. Past speakers include: Michael Arndt, David Peoples, Glen Mazzara, Beau Willimon, Dean DeBlois, and Graham Yost.

The TSC is proud to welcome WGAE members Katja Blichfeld & Ben Sinclair as speakers for the 2015 conference. Katja and Ben will share anecdotes and experiences from their cult web series HIGH MAINTENANCE. From their Dogme 95-inspired filmmaking to the culled storylines of their own lives, Ben and Katja will discuss how they weave everything together to produce what has become the first of Vimeo’s original on-demand programs. Charting new territory—this joint conversation about “the greatest show not on television” is not to be missed.

The full 2015 lineup includes David S. Goyer (MAN OF STEEL,  DARK KNIGHT TRILOGY, DA VINCI’S DEMONS), Mara Brock & Salim Akil (BEING MARY JANE, THE GAME), Eugene & Dan Levy (SCHITT’S CREEK), Eric Homan (VP of Development, Frederator Studios) and many more.
