How do you write about guns, explosives, narcotics trafficking, tactical operations, sniffing canines and bomb response vehicles – and get it right?

Come join ATF Special Agents for two days of presentations and hands-on exhibits in the areas of arson, racketeering and bootlegging, to help you create on-screen depictions that are authentic and accurate.
Special Agents will bring in various firearms and explosives. Interact with bomb-sniffing dogs. Find out how a profiler gets inside the criminal mind. Learn about ATF’s culture, policies, training and organizational structure. Establish contact with the public affairs division, which is tasked with reviewing production projects for ATF support. In this 2-day session, the ATF’s contributing panel of experts will highlight the work involved to track down murderers, gang leaders and gun traffickers.  Speakers will showcase resources, training and case work that led to major takedowns of criminals and criminal organizations. And attendees will have the opportunity to hear first-hand accounts of how these investigations and apprehensions took place.AGENDA (SUBJECT TO CHANGE)
