Join us for a special Comedy/Variety panel and mixer with the executive producers of series such as INSIDE AMY SCHUMER, I THINK YOU SHOULD LEAVE WITH TIM ROBINSON, JOHN MULANEY & THE SACK LUNCH BUNCH, THE NIGHTLY SHOW WITH LARRY WILMORE, and FULL FRONTAL WITH SAMANTHA BEE.
After the panel discussion, the Guild will host breakout rooms with each of the producers.
About the panelists:
Brittany Scott Smith is a television producer, director and executive. Brittany served as supervising producer of THE NIGHTLY SHOW WITH LARRY WILMORE on Comedy Central and co-executive producer of THE RUNDOWN WITH ROBIN THEDE on BET. She produced and directed the election special, WILMORE on Peacock and directed A BLACK LADY SKETCH SHOW on HBO. She is currently a development executive for Jax Media.
Cara Masline of 3 Arts Entertainment is an Emmy Award nominated producer. Her executive producer credits include MATT ROGERS: HAVE YOU HEARD OF CHRISTMAS (Showtime), JOHN MULANEY & THE SACK LUNCH BUNCH (Netflix) and JOHN MULANEY: KID GORGOUS AT RADIO CITY (Netflix).
Daniel Powell is the Emmy and Peabody winning co-President of TV & Film production company Irony Point, and a founding partner of Future Brain Media. His credits include LIFE & BETH (Hulu), I THINK YOU SHOULD LEAVE WITH TIM ROBINSON (Netflix), THAT DAMN MICHAEL CHE (HBO Max), INSIDE AMY SCHUMER (Comedy Central), ASTRONOMY CLUB (Netflix) and the cult animated series UGLY AMERICANS (Comedy Central). He is a founding partner of the podcast company Radio Point. Earlier in his career, he was an Associate Producer on THE DAILY SHOW WITH JON STEWART and a contributing writer to Robert Smigel’s “TV Funhouse” segments on SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE.
Mike Drucker is an eight-time Emmy-nominated writer and comedian living in New York. He’s written for THE TONIGHT SHOW STARRING JIMMY FALLON, BILL NYE THE SCIENCE GUY, and ADAM RUINS EVERYTHING as well as serving as head writer and executive producer on FULL FRONTAL WITH SAMANTHA BEE. He wants a dog, but his landlord won’t let him get one.
Moderator Greg Iwinski is an Emmy-winning comedy writer whose credits includes LAST WEEK TONIGHT and THE LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT. He recently finished writing the first season of GAME THEORY WITH BOMANI JONES on HBO. Iwinski is also a host of the Guild’s podcast, OnWriting, where he talks to Writers Guild members about the creative process, from the page to the screen.
