Caucuses are communities which promote the professional and artistic interests of writers working in established & emerging fields of entertainment and news media.
Even if your project isn’t being produced under the Minimum Basic Agreement (MBA), you can still take advantage of many of the protections and benefits afforded Guild contracts.
The Indie Film Caucus is a forum for professional filmmakers who are fully focused on their independent film careers, as well as those who are making a single independent project.
The New Media Caucus serves as a community for professional writers who develop content for digital distribution, including everything from webseries to videogames and beyond.
The Documentary Film Caucus exists to promote the rights of documentary filmmakers, and provides them with resources that will help them realize their projects and succeed in the industry.
The Animation Caucus addresses industry-wide shifts for animation writers and is an informal community for professional writers who work in the field of animation.
