This workshop explores a variety of strategies for improving gender-related storytelling. After an overview of basic (and not-so-basic) terms, participants can expect to dive into a discussion of trans-related story tropes, appropriate language, and narrative framing.

Presenter Tuck Woodstock from Sylveon Consulting will prep this event for WGAE members. The exact agenda will be determined by a pre-workshop survey distributed to registrants in your confirmation email.

Tuck Woodstock Tuck Woodstock is a journalist and educator based in Brooklyn. A co-founder of both Sylveon Consulting and the Trans Journalists Association, Tuck has led workshops for newsrooms from NPR to ABC to TIME. Tuck is also the host of the long-running Gender Reveal podcast and an editor of both the Lambda Literary Award-winning 2 Trans 2 Furious and the anthology Sex Change and the City.
