Best Brainstorming Techniques: Demolish Writers Block Forever

Generating ideas is the writer’s bread and butter—the fuel that makes our industry run. The better we are at brainstorming, the more we can heighten our own work, become an asset in the writers’ room, and be someone everyone wants to work with. This workshop will level-up your brainstorming abilities with tons of mind-expanding games and exercises. Not only will you never be at a loss for ideas ever again, but you’ll be a boon to storytellers everywhere, armed with these ideation superpowers!

Some of the topics and techniques we’ll cover include:

  • Jump lightyears ahead of the competition with the “What Would Never Happen?” game
  • Transform yourself into a one-person writers’ room with these fun and intuitive tips, tricks, and exercises
  • 7 techniques to banish writer’s block from your creative life forever
  • Use utterly unrelated film/TV genres to “unique-ify” your premise
  • Amp up your success rate…by amping up your failure rate first
  • Apply the “1% useful” rule for less judgmental, more productive writing sessions
  • 3 foolproof techniques to write more each day with less effort

…and a whole lot more. Hope to see you there!
