Whether you’re submitting your script to buyers or producing it yourself, there is one question you should ask before going any further: Is my script producible?

How To Write A Producible Script will examine how each element of a screenplay can significantly impact its viability in surprising ways. You’ll learn why you should write like a writer but rewrite like a film crew.

Among the topics we’ll cover are:

  • How the number of locations can wreak havoc on your schedule
  • The hidden costs of too many continuity days
  • How merging characters affects the budget
  • Why combining or moving scenes can save the day
  • How long speeches waste valuable time on a set
  • Page count and how it dictates the pace of production

A copy of Final Draft with your current script open is suggested.
