Jessica Huseman of the Friendly State News will host a 90-minute course on filing a public records request. You’ll walk away with proven strategies for filing successful records requests, and fill-in requests that can help you start filing immediately.
Jessica Huseman is the editorial director of Votebeat, a non-profit newsroom covering voting policy. She was previously the lead elections reporter at ProPublica. She teaches a course on government transparency at American University School of Public Policy, and data journalism at St. Bonaventure University.
