WGA members are encouraged to attend a virtual info session for all eligible WGA Health Fund participants and their dependents to learn about new options for their WGA healthcare plan and ask questions about the upcoming health plan changes.
At this webinar, PWGA, Centivo and Budgie Health representatives will provide an overview of the new health plan option available starting January 2027.
The webinar will cover:
- Information from the Writers Guild-Industry Health Fund about upcoming plan changes.
- An overview of the new medical plan offering available from Centivo in 2027
- Information about Budgie, a decision support/cost-comparison tool to help members understand their medical plan choice between Centivo and Anthem—to be available by November 1.
As a reminder, Centivo will be available as an option for active participants and pre-65 certified retirees. Retirees with Medicare as primary coverage will continue to have the Anthem PPO plan only.
Spouses and dependents are invited to join the zoom. Open Enrollment window opens November 11, 2026.
Please note: The Guild will announce further virtual health care info sessions centered on health changes for members not located within Centivo’s geographic network.
