Dennis Lehane was a staff writer on the acclaimed HBO series THE WIRE, and also worked as a writer-producer on HBO’s BOARDWALK EMPIRE, Netflix‘s BLOODLINE, DirecTV’s MR. MERCEDES, HBO’s THE OUTSIDER, and Apple TV+ limited series BLACK BIRD.

Four of his novels – LIVE BY NIGHT, MYSTIC RIVER, GONE, BABY, GONE, and SHUTTER ISLAND – have been adapted into films. A fifth, THE DROP, was adapted by Lehane himself into a film starring Tom Hardy, Noomi Rapace, and James Gandolfini in his final role. He has also published thirteen novels that have been translated into more than 30 languages and become international bestsellers:

Thomas Kelly is a showrunner, screenwriter and acclaimed novelist. Tom is currently Co-Executive Producer on F.B.I. Tom previously served as Executive Producer/Showrunner on THE PURGE for USA/Blumhouse Television. He was the Executive Producer/Showrunner on THE GET DOWN for Netflix and the showrunner of BBC America’s COPPER (season 2). Tom has developed pilots for AMC (where he was in an overall deal), HBO, and CBS.

Tom is the author of three critically-acclaimed novels. His novels The Rackets and Empire Rising were selected as New York Times Notable Books. Tom adapted his novel Empire Rising for Guy Ritchie at Warner Brothers.
