The 2020 MBA is subject to ratification by the combined memberships of Writers Guild, East and West.
The proposed agreement has the unanimous support of the 2020 Negotiating Committee, whose statement in favor of ratification is found here. It also enjoys the unanimous support of the WGAW Board of Directors and the WGAE Council, both of which voted in favor of ratification on July 2.

Ratification Vote:
Eligible* WGAE members in good standing may vote online beginning at 1:00 p.m. EDT (10:00 a.m. PDT) on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 and ending on Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. EDT (10:00 a.m. PDT).

*2020 MBA Ratification Vote eligibility requirements: Current active WGAE or WGAW membership, PLUS earnings of at least $36,060.40 during the past six years under the MBA (the earnings must be declared for dues purposes by 7/28/20 at 10:00 a.m.) OR 15 pension-eligible years based on MBA employment.
