Student debt resources

Student Borrower Protection Center

The Student Borrower Protection Center (SBPC) (external – opens in a new window) is a nonprofit organization focused on alleviating the burden of student debt for millions of Americans. The SBPC engages in advocacy, policymaking, and litigation strategy to rein in industry abuses, protect borrowers’ rights, and advance economic opportunity for the next generation of students.

Student Debt Crisis Center

The Student Debt Crisis Center (SDCC) (external – opens in a new window) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works directly with borrowers to help them navigate the loan repayment system. They’ve partnered with the Department of Education’s SAVE on student debt campaign (external – opens in a new window) to bring valuable information to impacted communities about the government’s SAVE repayment program (external – opens in a new window).

As student debt payments resume in October, the SDCC will hold three different workshops in September to discuss various programs, repayment plans, and more. Borrowers can RSVP for one, two, or all three of SDCC’s Upcoming Workshops below:
