Vote Now for the WGAE’s #NextChapter Constitutional Referendum

Voting on the WGAE’s #NextChapter constitutional referendum opens TODAY, May 23. Your ballot to vote on the referendum was sent from the email address noreply@eballot.com, with the subject line “WGAE 2022 Amendment Vote“.

Guild members have until June 9, 2022 at 3pm ET to submit their ballot. If you do not see the ballot email in your inbox, please check your junk or clutter folder for the email. If you still do not see the email, please contact nextchapter@wgaeast.org for further assistance.

In April, the WGA East Council unanimously recommended members VOTE YES to approve changes to the Guild’s Constitution. The changes will ensure contracts are controlled and negotiated only by people who work under them. Council will be proportionally represented by sector, with vice presidents for each of the three work sectors. The Council has also approved a new organizing strategy that aims to grow the Guild equitably across all sectors.
