Wildfires and Guild Resource to Help Those Impacted

We continue to watch in horror as wildfires wreck havoc all along the West Coast.

We want to alert Guild members impacted by the wildfires that they may be eligible for emergency financial assistance through our partnership with The Actors Fund and Union Plus.

To be eligible for The Actors Fund’s assistance, you must have entertainment industry earnings over $6,500 for three out of the last five years. Income from teaching does not qualify. If you work as a dancer, musician or comedian, you must document three years of recent earnings of at least $2,000 a year.

In addition, if you are also a SAG-AFTRA member, you may be eligible for assistance through the SAG-AFTRA Foundation, administered by The Actors Fund.

Stay safe.
