Caucuses are a professional forum open to both current Guild members and to established writers who are pursuing Guild membership, but whose produced screenplays and projects do not meet the criteria for membership under the MBA.

Register Your Script

We register the creative material of tens of thousands of writers each year. Before you start sending your work to agents, producers and actors, make sure you protect your material with the Writers Guild of America East’s Script Registration.
Low Budget Agreement

The LBA allows writers to write and sell a narrative feature-length screenplay under the protection of the Writers Guild if the theatrical film’s budget is at or below $1.2 million.
Join the Activist Group

Members of the Activist Group receive emails asking them to take part in union actions – ranging from signing petitions to sharing their support for Guild campaigns on social media to attending marches, rallies and events.
